WELCOME TO THE MUSICAL TWO'S!
Welcome to second grade! I hope everyone has had a safe, relaxing and fun summer. My name is Ms. Shammah and I will be your second-grade teacher along with Ms. Suzanne, the teaching assistant.
I am very excited about this new school year, and I cannot wait to meet everyone. This year, our classroom theme takes you on a musical adventure as we have incorporated a few elements of music into the curriculum. Our students will explore rhythm, melody, dynamics and musical notation through the recorder in addition to the four core subjects: Math, Language, Science and Social Studies. I would like for each student to purchase a recorder at a store of their choice or through the Grade 2 teachers for $9.50.
